FAQ
What is for dinner?
Santa Maria Elks Lodge will be providing an amazing Santa Maria Style BBQ! Each guest will get Top Sirloin, Chicken, baked potato, beans, salad with dressing, garlic bread, salsa, coffee, water and iced tea and two bottles of complimentary wine on each table provided by our wine sponsors.
What should I wear?
Everyone loves to get dressed up, so here is your time to shine!!! Denim & Diamonds allows for you to wear casual and formal wear together. This theme allows guests to frequently wear jeans, jean jackets, jean skirts, jean shirts and jean dresses. The diamond element refers to the clothing pieces or accessories that dress up the casual, denim pieces: clothing with rhinestones; sequined fabric; gemstone bracelets, earrings and necklaces; a sparkly bag; satin jacket; and heels. Additional options for building on the denim and diamonds theme include wearing dresses with cowboy boots and gemstone accessories, pantsuits made with sequined or rhinestone fabrics and paired with leather jackets and heels, and metallic jackets with classic, simple dresses or blouse and pant sets (Tara Carson, 2017; What Is Denim & Diamonds Attire?*)
If you would rather not dress up, we ask that you dress in business casual.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, there will be a full bar that you can purchase your drink from. Each table will have two wine tokens to use for table wine (one white and one red) these are complimentary from our wine sponsor.
Can I buy more funny money?
YES!!! This is a fundraiser and would love for you to purchase more. At 5:30 pm table games will close and you will be asked to cash in your chips for casino raffle tickets. We will draw the winner of the raffles right before the live auction.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes! The more the merrier, but we are limited on how many tickets we can sell so buy them early so you don’t miss out on the fun!
Can I bring my child?
While we love children as much as everyone else, but this is an 18 years or older event.
