OASIS stands for Orcutt Area Seniors In Service, Inc. Since 1984 OASIS, Inc. has served as a premier senior advocate agency for Northern Santa Barbara County
Mission
The purpose of Orcutt Area Seniors in Service, Inc., is to provide services aimed at encouraging all adults, especially those 50 years of age and over, to become involved in preserving and improving their quality of life, and providing social, educational and cultural opportunities for these adults.
Company Overview
The Luis Oasis Senior Center is operated by the Orcutt Area Seniors In Service, Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
We host classes in senior aerobics, yoga, painting, drawing, etc, and groups for bereavement support, such as ceramics, creative card making, the Oasis Ukulele Band, etc. In 2012, we started a Travel Club, a hiking group, and much more. Explore the links on our website for more information.
We also encourage local groups to use the center as a meeting place for potlucks, special events and fund raisers. Information is available on our Facilities Rental page.
We are in the midst of an exciting Capital Campaign also!
