The Santa Maria Fairpark and OASIS are complying with Gov. Gavin Newsom’s state Coronavirus policy, and rescheduled the OASIS Gala for May 15.

The policy had ordered that all events with more than 250 people throughout the state of California are to be postponed or canceled, at least until the end of March, and smaller events should proceed only if the organizers can implement social distancing of 6 feet per person. For people who are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19, events should be limited to no more than 10 people, the governor’s office said, while also following social distancing guidelines.

We appreciate all of our donors, vendors, supporters and volunteers who have devoted so much time and energy to our fundraiser. This event is so important to our organization as our premier fundraiser for the year. We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate these uncertain times. We hope you all will be able to make May 15 date.

Should you have any pressing questions, our OASIS team will do it’s best to get back to you in a timely order. Our Executive Director, Doug Dougherty; Development Director, Ali Bailey; Operations Director, Julie Hall and Programs Coordinator, Amy Lammert can all be reached at OASIS at 805-937-9750.
